Shane Claiborne
Shane Claiborne is an activist, popular speaker, and best-selling author. He worked with Mother Teresa in Calcutta, and is one of the founding members of The Simple Way, an intentional community situated in one of Philadelphia’s poorest neighbourhoods. Shane is also the co-founder of Red Letter Christians, a movement committed to living out the lifestyle prescribed by Jesus in the Gospels. Shane’s books include his classic The Irresistible Revolution; Living as an Ordinary Radical (2006, and updated/expanded 2016); Executing Grace: How The Death Penalty Killed Jesus And Why It’s Killing Us (2016), and his most recent book Beating Guns: Hope For People Who Are Weary of Violence (2019).
