The concept for the Lil E Coffee Café in Calgary, Canada was inspired by Founder/Director Paul Constance’s daughter Ella, who has Down syndrome. Along with great coffee, the Café is brewing greatness by providing life skills, employment opportunities, meaningful careers, and long-lasting friendships to many individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Café also serves up vital awareness to its customers about the importance and joy of more inclusive communities.

Beth Deer, host of the above video, is originally from East Sussex, England, but now lives in Canada. Born with optic nerve hypoplasia and latent nystagmus, Beth lost her sight in 2014. She and her guide dog Patronus are thrilled to be part of the AMI family.
Nice place and active team.
